The dog days of summer

Mom went and bought the chaise lounge Ive been eyeing for over a month, finally I can get my brontosaurus bone, get on my chaise and get some sleep.

I really dont understand why she doesnt like my hair and the oil marks on my furniture. I didnt complain when she gave me that huge sheep skin bed with a pillow that went all the way around it.

Tazzy is getting old and Im afraid she will one day not be here to play with so I protect her from everyone, even my best friend Kai.

We have 2 kittens named Tigger and Nuru Kahn, Tigger is of course orange and white and has a genetically kinked tail, Nuru Kahn ( Swahili for prince of light) is pure white with one bleu eye and one green eye, he is deaf which is typical of the Turkish Angora breed. I love them both dearly, except when Nuru slaps me in the face. He thinks its funny but I find it annoying.

Oh my mommy loves me

Today My mom asked Mary Norton to come over to give Tazzy and I a full body massage , being the gentleman I am I let Tazzy go first (she woulda kicked my butt if I hadnt).

Mary was just as scared of me as I was of her, but by mid massage I was fightin the urge to fall asleep, Mary says my right side is sore from over compensating for my left side being hurt when I got hit by that mean ole car. My pelvis is completely healed now but I still have to have a massage every week for a while till my muscles relax and get healthy again, I dont mind tho, next time Mary comes over Im gonna lay right down and go to sleep.

I was a naughty boy today, Mom went to the store and left me home, I opened the gate and ran 10 blocks in 5 minutes till that mean ole car hit me, the lady was so nice she stayed with me she called my dad then paid someone to put me in her car then she drove me to the vet to meet my mom and dad, the vet said my pelvis is broken and I have to be mellow for 6-8 weeks till it heals but I dont have to have surgery or anything. He said I cant pull in harness anymore but thats ok I like to run naked anyway.

I came to live with my new mom & dad and sister Tazzy. I love it here I get food all day long, I have a large yard and a nice cool home to sleep in.
