 Quick Bio:
Likes: Momma, sleep in the bed time, peanut butter, rawhides and stuffed ducks

Pet-Peeves: Getting up in the morning, bath time isn't a huge hit, nose fold cleaning sucks and he's afraid of paper unless it's on the floor to chew up

Favorite Toy: Stuffed squeaky ducks, only ducks..but we're learning that other stuff that squeaks is good too

Favorite Food: Nutro small bites and peanut butter

Favorite Walk: Upstairs to the big bed, we're a lazy boy

Best Tricks: Take up all the pillows, and sit on the arm of mommas chair patiently for bites off the fork and sleeping

Arrival Story: Chaz came to us through Pounders breeder. The people who bought Chaz were supposed to show him but they didn't and instead left him in a kennel and neglected him. When they decided to return him he was a mess but the breeder fixed him up and asked did we want him? We in short rescued him from a loveless empty sad life.

Bio: Chaz is doing much better in his new home. He has finally figured out that if we leave we are comming back. He's also learned that laps are for sitting in and that kissing and playing are okie dokie. We are pretty sure that the bad people used books and or rolled up newspapers to discipline him as he's scared of paper unless it's on the floor then he shreds it to bits. It's wonderful to see him starting to act like a real pug!

My momma is a very special people to me. She feeds me and carries me upstairs when I am too tired to go up to bed at night and she lets me play cave in the big bed when Dad isn't there. Momma and I spend alot of time together and she never ever hits me or makes me sad and cry. Momma taught me that showers and baths are ok as long as she's there and when I get out I can run around and be crazy. I have lots and lots of toys that I love and when the squeaker dies momma makes it better. I get peanut butter in my kong if I have to stay home alone and it's a weekend day I also get my favorite treats in the whole world which are nutri-dent sirloin flavored chewies! Sometimes we go visit the doctor and I get shots but I am brave. Momma says I will have to go spend the day there soon and get something called neutered whatever that is, I hope it's a treat. Momma told the vet how the bad people put me in a kennel so those nice ladies are going to make me a bed in the recovery room on the floor with my own blanket from home and maybe a chewie. Sometimes we play face fight in the bed and I like that alot, then we have to play my own version of kissie face. I do NOT like to kiss peoples but if momma makes the kiss noise I open my mouth and she kisses my chin and that's ok. Sometimes momma is sad and cries and she tells me all about my brother that I didn't get to meet. She loved him alot but I don't worry about anything cause I know she loves me just as much so I sit in her lap and listen. Sometimes I forget that everything is ok and I get scared but with all the hugs I get I remember really fast that I'm safe and loved now. All thanks to my momma.

Hi, I'm Chazz!
When I was a baby these people came and took me to their house to be a show dog. They didn't know anything about pugs or how to really love a dog. They knew I needed eye surgery for my entropin but wouldn't take me to a vet! The lady who has my momma took me for my surgery and I could see again very well. These people were not nice at all and didn't know anything about pugs. I was put in a kennel BY MYSELF and ignored! I was also beaten on with rolled up newspapers or their hands when I tried to mate with their female dog who was in heat. The staffordshire terriers didn't like me and bit me and chased me around and then the people beat me for misbehaving. As if a pug follows the regular rules anyhow. Finally the bad people took me back where I came from and said I was too much trouble and the nice lady cried when she saw me. I was filthy dirty, underfed and covered in ugly bites, had mange, and to top that all off I hadn't gotten any of my vaccinations and I was 14 months old! I got a shot and all cleaned up at the nice ladys house and I was getting used to her other pugs. Then something wonderful happened, a lady and a man and a little girl came to visit and I liked them but I was so nervous and stressed out I couldn't show it. After awhile we went for a ride in a car which I did NOT like cause I was never let out of my kennel really so I slept all the way to my new home on the emergency brake between the seats.
When I got to my new home I was very nervous and marked a few places but my new mom and dad were so nice I learned not to be afraid. It's taken a couple of months for me to get comfortable and learn the house rules but this is definitly MY house and MY family so there! I saw my new doctor who is a nice lady and we go to stores alot. I have also learned that going bye bye is fun! I even sleep up on the car seats! Now I sleep up in the big bed with my mom and dad and someone is always at home with me and I've learned that laps are for sitting in, and that being silly and playing are allowed. What a change!!! My new mom gets asked all the time if I am a show dog and she says nope my baby had a bad start in life and has been retired early, his only job is to be spoiled rotten and I sure am!!!
