We had been searching for a dog for a while, and we stopped into a nearby SPCA branch, and inquired if they had any puppies for adoption. We were told that earlier that day, SPCA workers had picked up a litter of 13 puppies and their mom. They had to go to foster care for several weeks, but the day they were adoptable, we were at the shelter before it even opened, and you can bet we were the VERY first people in the door that day!! We looked at the litter, and imediately saw Dash,the one, that special pup that would take over the lives of our whole family,and who we hope will continue to for a very long time!!!! :) :)

Woof!!!!!!!!!! Today I'm 3 !! I'm really excited, not just cause it's my B-day, but we are going to the cottage today!!!!! I LOVE the cottage!! I can swim all day, chase minnows, and there are lots of huge stick in the woods to find and drag around all day!! BOL!! I wonder what special treat I'll get today? since It's my B-day, I 'm sure I'll get tons of hugs, kisses and just plain love from everybody!! woof!! Well, I better get going, the lake is calling me!!!! BTYL!!!

Whew, I haven't posted anything here in a long time! Well, tommorow's my 3rd Birthday, so I just though I'd make a little note of it, in case anypup was interested! I think that I've matured alot over the past year, and I'm (finally) starting to calm down(a little). BOL!! I hope I get some great treats tommorrow!!!! Bark to you later!!!

Hi all you pups out there! As most of you have noticed, winter is almost over and that means no more snow! Woof! The past week I have immensly enjoyed myself rolling in the new grass and sniffing all there is to sniff! Ah,the sweet smell of spring! My Mom says that in May my cousin will be coming to stay with us for a couple of weeks! Woof! She's a 9 year old Golden Retriver that can never seem to stop wagging her tail! Her name is Verdi, and she's fun but likes to sleep alot more then I do! Well I better get back to that sniffing! You never know when you might come across a bone that you left outside in the fall, and was lost under the snow! Now,if I could just remember where I last saw that chew....
