Arrival Story:
My disabled husband wanted a companion so HE looked in the paper for a small dog and found one chihuahua left from a litter at a house in Galveston. Castro is B-O-I as they say which is born on the island for Gavestonians--a mark of distinction. We got him in July, just after the 4th in 2005. He is always with us and has been several places, including hotels in some very nice areas. It is very hard to leave him with others or alone.
Bio:
Even though Castro is all chihuahua, he is "chihuahua muy grande" weighing in at 11 pounds. He is long and sleek and all boy. He loves teasing Schatzie, his doberman sister and chasing Blondie, his sister cat, around the plants in our yard. Oh, yes, Castro is NOT a morning dog. He often stays in the bed until 10 or so. He is the funniest 'thing' we have ever had! It is like living with a cartoon character. I know chihuahua owners know what I mean!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
