Breed-specific legislation. She's not a real adventurous dog, so when something new happens, she gets scared. It's funny to see such a big, "bad" pit bull running away.
Favorite Toy:
Our greyhound mix Bonny, anything to chew on (we're thankful it's not the walls anymore since she stopped teething).
Favorite Food:
The Duck loves to eat anything. When she goes to fast-food drive-throughs with me, she climbs on my lap to try to get in the window of the place. She gets a lot of treats (& laughs) that way!
Favorite Walk:
She LOVES walks. She'll go anywhere any time. Her favorite walk is with her special friend Maxie & his people, Jill & Hannah.
Best Tricks:
Convincing people that pibbles are the best, looking sweet & innocent, moving furniture when she jumps on it.
Arrival Story:
My daughter talked an acquaintance into buying Ducky, who was being sold as a 4-1/2-week-old pup by a backyard breeder as a "good fightin' dawg." Ducky waddled over to her, and she had to bring her home. However, we had two other large dogs, and she hadn't asked whether she could. She counted on my being a sucker for puppies. It worked!
Bio:
Ducky is now a certified therapy dog! She and I have visited retirement homes, rehab centers, schools, and other places to bring smiles to people and to show that the only bad pit bulls are those with irresponsible owners.

Woody says I'm supposed to tell seven secrets about myself and then tag seven pup pals to pass it along. Ok, here goes:
1--When I get the zoomies and run around the house, I knock furniture around and sometimes almost knock people and Bay and Bonny around.
2--I love to eat paper. Mom once caught me just as I was about to eat a check. What's a check? She was pretty upset.
3--When Bonny growls in her sleep, I get as far away from her as I can in bed. One time, I laid down above Mom's head and tried to hide.
4--I'm practicing to earn my Canine Good Citizen certificate.
5--One of my favorite treats in the world is going for a walk with my friend Max and his people, Jill and Hannah.
6--Mom gives me yogurt so when I toot I don't clear the room anymore.
7--I love getting to meet kids. I squinch my eyes up and squat down low so I don't scare them since I'm pretty big. I wag my whole body. Then I start giving Duck kisses.
