Arrival Story:
I adopted cooke from the DRNA (Dachshund Rescue of North America). She's a full bred miniature dachshund who was given to rescue because her tail was not formed correctly. In the end, she had to have it clipped, so there is only a little "nub" left. I brought her home on November 17, 2006, and she quickly became a very spoiled little girl! She's a great companion -- playful, feisty, and loving. She adores snuggling under the covers. And she MUST sleep in the bed. There's just no other choice!
