As a youngster, he tried to catch birds & airplanes, chase cars & motorcycles (we made sure he didn't catch any), & play frisbee. Now he likes tummy-rubbin's, head & butt scritches, & stealing & hiding the other dogs' toys

We don't walk anymore. He gets lots of exercise in the yard with our Greyhound mix chasing him around.

Used to be catching frisbees & trying to catch airplanes & birds; now,"talking back " to us &"singing" to sirens.
Arrival Story:
We went to find a puppy for my then 10-year-old daughter at the ARL adopt-a-thon. He was the first dog we laid eyes on, & he gave us that "puppy-dog" look that melted us on the spot. He was in a large crate & sat in the middle so that no one could touch him unless he wanted them to. When we got him out of the crate to visit with, he came straight to us & hunkered down in our laps. We were goners.
Bio:
We think that the people who abandoned him thought that his "talking" was actually growling. He's sassy & talks back all the time, but he's not mean.
