Help stop this!!!

This is a petition to stop the Trumbull County Dog Pound in Warren, OH from killing animals! Please help! I know first hand what this place is like. I spent time here myself and it is not a good place. Very dirty. In the winter when us fur babies are already cold, they hose the kennels down with bleach water with us still inside. Then we lay until we dry. When the kennels are dirty we are forced to lay in our own waste. Also, there isn't always one of us per kennel sometimes there are two and we fight. No one cares to stop us though. Once in a while they even put female dogs who are in season in the same kennel as a male. Not a pretty picture! They also use gas to put the ones to sleep that stay too long. Volunteers quit because they can't stand the sound of the cries of the fur babies as they are being gassed. Please help and sign this petition. It doesn't matter where you live. Our goal is 1000 signatures. Thank you! http://www. thepetitionsite. com/tell-a-friend/31594

Happy Birthday to me!

Today is my third birthday and I am so happy! Mommy and I checked my paw mail and it was overwhelming...so many birthday wishes, I feel so loved! It's hard to believe that just three short years ago I was stuck in a shelter...man, oh dog, I have come a LONG way! I'm so special that mommy baked me my very own cake with beef jerky in it! It was yummy...I ate it all! Then my grandma brought me a new toy and all day mommy kept making a big deal over what a big boy I was now! I had a great day and I can't wait to do it all again next year!

Speak!

Today was a very exciting day for my mommy and daddy. They have been telling me Speak! Speak! Speak! over and over for a couple of weeks now and I just didn't get it. I kept them hanging on for a couple of days with little grumbles in the back of my throat, but today, I finally let them have it! I sat down and daddy said Speak! and I rared my head back and said WOOF! Mommy and daddy were so proud of me! They were scratching my head and telling me what a good boy I was! Man, I am so proud of myself!
