Birthday: January 1st 2001 Likes: Being within my sight Pet-Peeves: people who have bad vibes, out of control children Favorite Toy: He could care less about toys Favorite Food: anything and everything Favorite Walk: behind Larry's house in Gansevoort Best Tricks: we don't have those either Arrival Story: My favorite Animal Control Officer (also my neighbor & friend) was building a bookcase for me when I asked him what he had in "lost & found". "A couple of beagles, a sheltie, and a Welsh Corgi" I immediately booked it out the door and up the hill on foot with him following! This I had to see as I was brought up by 2 of them. I had no idea of what I would really find but here was this beautiful, VERY SAD with big tears running down his face, EXTREMELY OBESE (over 60 lb) pure breed PWC. I asked if I could take him out to look at and Charlie put a lead on him and told me to "get him out of here as the vet is coming tomorrow and he is 10 days overdue". Well we made it home walking down the hill but I wasn't sure that he would make it due to his weight (we had to stop to rest even going downhill).
He was greeted by the other 6 or 7 dogs that were part of our extended family and has been with me ever since. Bio: We are now 26-28 lbs and very fit! Exercise & Hill's TD have made me much healthier (Thanks Doc Tom). Harold has also been made a "Service/Therapy Dog" because "mother gail" has
a disability and he assists. This actually was brought about to strengthen the "dangerous dog" laws in our village (another story). He also is definitely is going deaf...but after having Jack/Parson Russells for years it's not so different from just being ignored!
