 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: October 17th 1995
Likes: Grizzy loved running free out in the country fields. He never ran off, just ran and played with Keyto.

Pet-Peeves: Violence. If anyone raised a voice or hand he was there. He was not aggressive, just very protective of us all.

Favorite Toy: At first, anything Keyto would LET him 'borrow'. After they adjusted, they shared all the toys. Ropes, bones, kongs, balls..

Favorite Food: Food?? I Love Food!

Favorite Walk: On his own around the block ACK! Full speed chases of kids ( he loved kids so much) on bikes were fun hehe..he DID walk on a leash too, very well : ) He only did this running out the front door for a bit when we first got him.

Best Tricks: He could do them all..pro you know?

Arrival Story: Grizz was rescued by ARF. He was going to be shot on 'round up night'. I met him when he was 11 months old at his foster Mom's home...fell in love INSTANTLY with those eyes and antics and left to tell hubby all about our new dog. In my excitement, I forgot to tell the lady looking after him that I'd take him. She scolded him for blowing it with the only person who had liked him so far! LOL! He was considered a 'difficult to place' large, wild case with the 90 day clause to return him extended to infinite. Well, 2 days later he came home to meet Keyto..who LIKED him..she REALLY liked him! He was an instant joy who never did a thing wrong...ok he took a loaf of bread down from the microwave once. He didn't eat it or rip it open..just took it down. Seriously, other than normal accidents and passing away, he NEVER caused me a moments grief. I loved and STILL love this dog. The kids and hubby were devastated to lose him as much as me I think.

Bio: GrizzyBear was our boy. He was as close to perfect as anything or anyone will ever be. I don't know what else to say except that losing him hurt beyond words. He loved everyone he met..even the mailman! Yes, he was nice to the mail man, who brought him back to me after one of his escapes when we first got him. Angelic, he was just a great boy. A big Teddy Bear. I miss you still buddy! We all do!

I can't find all of your pictures, but I know they'll turn up. For some reason I want the world to see what a beautiful boy you were on earth. We know how beautiful you were and that look in your eyes is burned on my heart. Gentle and loving you were so that's what matters most. Locks on doors...what for? LOL! You didn't have a mean bone in your body yet you'd protect us from danger. Dogs can just tell right? ; ) I think of you all the time and it hurts a little less to talk about you 'cuz I know you're okay and we'll meet again. Kisses to you big guy and some giant hugs.
Love you

Finally. I've scanned and made ONE. I'll get one of just Grizzy up there when I can. I had to lighten it a LOT because he was jet black...except this tiny spot under his chin...but here's my other 'big guy'. It feels so good to have a page for him and see his little face on the page where it should be as part of our furry family. It's hard to believe that over almost 3 years have passed since he left us. Cancer seems to take more and more dogs. It might seem silly to people who don't look at their pets as family to do this, but I feel he's now honored publicly as he is in my heart. We're a pack, and he was a member, so here he is. Call me crazy! Many have. Through teary eyes, my boy Grizzy is on my pet's page YAY!
