Arrival Story:
Sadie was sold to a research laboratory because she and her puppies were not good hunters. The staff really liked her, so when they had and extra dog, she came home with me. She was extreamely scared of the world, but with clicker training she became my demo dog in classes. She has had several photos in Dog Fancy and in their Coonhound magazine. a great rags to riches for her....especially since she was diagnosed with lymphoma in November of 2005. She wasn't a good chemo candidate, but we did it anyway. She went into remission in April of 2006, had her lst chemo in August of 2006, and just passed her 6 month check up.

Bio:
Sad news...Sadie passed away early in the morning on June 24, 2007. Her lymphoma had returned, and though the chemo was working, it appears she was bleeding internally. We had been at the vet and they could not find anything wrong, but she didn't want to eat. I will miss my little tricolored hound terribly, as will her three dog siblings and 4 sibling cats.
