Arrival Story:
I saw Ruby's picture on the Eastern Washington Siberian Rescue site and fell in love with her. After communicating with her foster mom, I drove to Portland, Oregon to pick her up. She kissed me all the way home to Seattle and we have been together ever since!

Ruby is now a "Therapy Dog" and we visit several area nursing homes together. Her brother Andy also visits. I named her after the Kenny Roger's song, "Ruby, Don't Take Your Love to Town." Anyone who has ever had experience with a Siberian knows that they often "take their love to town" and you end up chasing them all over the neighborhood!----- Ruby went to the Rainbow Bridge June 28, 2005. In the span of a very short week she took ill and was diagnosed with canine lymphoma. She is now wearing her Silver Harness and running with her friends. Godspeed little girl. You are missed by all that loved you.
