The day Julian was taken from the shelter and placed in a foster home. *Click on "See My DogsterPlus Photo Book" and scroll to the bottom for Julian's most recent photos.*"
Arrival Story: In October 2006, when Jullian was only four weeks old, he was confiscated by Round Rock, TX animal control as part of a cruelty seizure, along with three adult dogs and eleven other puppies. The owner/breeder admitted she had starved and drowned puppies she couldn't sell. For four of Jullian's six litter mates, help came too late. Despite the efforts of animal control and their veterinarians, they didn't survive. In November 2006, after the dogs were awarded to the city, Jullian and his sister Jillian were transferred to our rescue organization. Sadly, his sister contracted parvo virus and passed away, making Jullian the sole survivor of his litter. One year later, Jullian is still a healthy, happy puppy and still searching for a forever family.
My foster Mom is posting my new photos on my dogster page today. She's even posting a short video of me too. I've been with my foster family a year now but they haven't given up on finding my forever home. I haven't either. It's nice here but with so many others they aren't able to give me enough attention and interaction.
My foster Mom also weighed me today. I am 49.8lbs. She thought I was at least 55lbs so she's going to weigh me on another scale soon. She says I look like a miniature American Bulldog or a Boxer mix. Even though I was confiscated from a breeder, she does not believe I am a purebred American Pit Bull Terrier. What is unquestionable is how much I love my foster family. I will love my forever family at least as much. I promise.
You missed my first Birthday today but that's okay I have many more ahead that we can celebrate together. You don't have to worry about missing my puppyhood because my foster Mom says I am still "all puppy" and I am still young enough to adjust easily to my forever family.
I am a happy, goofy, and playful boy with a friendly disposition. I am a bit clumsy and sometimes forget my manners when I am excited but it's only because I am so excited to see you. I will "sit" on command and can catch food/toys in my mouth. Although people are my first love, I also enjoy playing with my canine friends. I am a fairly active boy who enjoys walks/runs/jogs and am always up for any fun activity or game. It would be nice if my forever family let me crash on the couch once we've had our fun. If I have to learn to stay off the furniture, that's okay. As long as I am part of he family and not banned to the outdoors.
I am eager to meet you, my forever family, so contact my foster Mom as soon as you find me.
Today, while at a Jack's Angels meet and greet event, a certain Boston Terrier/Pug mix, I won't name names, decided to play a joke on me. I was hangin' out in my crate and all of a sudden noticed it was raining, but we were inside!! Everyone was laughing so I knew something was up. Then I notice my normally bright white coat had yellow speckles on it. It wasn't rain, that silly dog peed upon me! Luckly, I am an easy goin' guy and just smiled with the rest of them.
