spaniels rule!

I'm wiggling my butt for Stump today! The Sussex Spaniel, who has a face exactly like mine, won Best in Show at Westminster last night! Sister was so excited that she started jumping up and down, and then she had to hug me even though I was clearly snoring away on the couch. I got back at her when Mommy left this morning and I whined for a whole hour! Ha ha!

second year!

Today is a very special day, because I've been with my forever family for two years. The universe must be celebrating with me, because it snowed! Sister took me for a walk in the backyard, and I ran around and got snow all over my face. I can't wait to go out again later!

It's been a big year for me. The biggest thing that happened was going to my new house. It was weird at first, but now I love my house, especially when I get to look out all the windows! Then, this summer, Mommy's friend came from England, and even though I was upset at first, I got used to him very quickly and actually slept with him at night! I hope he comes back soon.

What else happened? Mommy and Sister started putting me in the puppy house when they both left the house. I used to be scared of it, but then Mommy and Sister put a soft blanket and some of my toys in it, and I liked it so much that I started sleeping in it! Now when Mommy or Sister puts me inside, I'm okay.

Thankfully, I was very healthy this year. I only had a couple of ear infections that went away very fast, and the occasional upset stomach. None of those things kept me down for long! I was running around and making trouble in no time!

Today, Mommy and Sister are staying with me all day. Maybe I'll get some cheese...

making mischief

It's the witching hour! Mommy knocked over an empty soda bottle, so I'm running around the house with it right now. I also knocked over Sister's garbage AND stole all the tissues out of her purse. If I can make a mess in the bathroom, my mission of wreaking havoc will be complete.

Casey was telling me about the Christmas tree. We don't have one in my house, but it sounds a lot cooler than the thing that Mommy and Sister light on fire every night because it has tons of ball-ys of all different colors and sizes on it! Ball-ys are my favorite toys! I'd have a new one every night if we had a Christmas tree! Mommy and Sister did get me a fluffy red pet bed for Chanukah, though, and I love to sleep on it.

My anniversary is coming up soon. It's been a big year for me, but I'm getting better, little by little.
