They say memories are golden,
Of course, that may be true,
But I've no use for memories,
All I want is you.

A million times I needed you,
A million times I cried,
If love alone could have saved you,
You never would have died.

In life I loved you dearly,
In death I love you still,
In my heart you hold a special place,
That no-one else can fill.

If tears could build a stairway,
And heartache make a lane,
I'd run to where you're waiting,
And bring you back again.

My world is empty without you,
And nothing feels the same,
But one day I will find you,
And we'll be together again.

Taz was my best friend and loyal companion for 14 years and 8 months. There are some things in life you never really get over...losing your best friend is one of them. I love you and miss you so much, puppy x x x
