Feeling Better

Today was very fun!! Eventhough me and mommy are getting over a cold we took a walk around the neighborhood. Then we stopped in the park and mommy started playing in the leafs, so I jumped in too. We rolled around and hid from each other. After awhile we realized how dirty we were and went home to clean up and change. Then mommy took me to Petco, we bought some treats and mommy got me a new jersey. She calls me her little football player and Daddy just loves it. We played touch football when he got home from work and I won! I can't wait til the weekend and he's off, then we can play all the time. He makes these faces that make me just laugh and cry, after a while I have to lay down to rest. He really wears me out, and mostly around 9 o'clock. I think he does that so I will be so tired I just go to sleep and stay sleep all night. And you know what, it works too! I will cuddle up next to mommy and snore all night long.

First Hair Cut

Today mommy took me to get my first hair cut. I was really excited until we got to the groomer and she left me. I cried almost the whole time. I guess it wasn't so bad. They bathe me (which I hated)and I cried even more, because I really don't like water unless I'm drinking it. Then they clipped my nails and cut all my hair off!!! You should have seen mommy when she came to pick me up. She looked like she might pass out!! When she finally spoke, all these words came out I had never heard before, she was hysterical!! You see, I'm just a pup and they were suppose to trim around my face, feet and belly. Well they did that, along with my mid section. I looked like they took a razor to me and shaved me clean. My hair went from being a inch and a half to just a half an inch with little pieces of long hair sticking out in certian places. My face and feet look good, but that's about it! Now I can't go outside without a shirt on, it was embarassing, everyone keep pointing and staring. At least we didn't have to pay for it. Mommy even went to the clothes section and bought me a long warm shirt. She so sweet and considerate. The best thing that came out of this experience was...... the shirt. Good thing is I don't have to worry about getting my hair cut for a while.
