Arrival Story:
The courts pulled her and children out of the home. There was no food for anyone in the house. The dog and children were totally flea-bitten and yoda was walking on her tangled-matted hair. It was wound so tight the skin was pulling away. I took her home because she was terrified of dogs. (She had been raised with cats.) It took 2 humane workers over 3 and a half hours to cut the matted hair from her body. AND she still loved people!

Bio:
For the first to wks I had her where-ever I set her is where she stayed until I came and picked her up again. It was evident that she had been punished anytime she moved. For the next 2 years she protected herself when she left the room afraid of being kicked. Eventually, she did come to trust that she wouldn't be hurt. She was a wonderful, sweet dog, so psychologically bruised it hurt.
