For all of us here on this page, adoption meant a chance for us in the world. My siblings and I were dropped off in the lobby of a vet. We had been found in an abandoned warehouse in Detroit when we were only a few days old. With no mom to take care of us, and no humans around, we surely would have died within only a few hours. Luckily, we were cared for by the techs, and then later went on to be adopted into great homes.
Fostering is a wonderful thing, as it gives those animals a chance that might not make it otherwise. Thousands of placeable pets are killed each and every day in shelters around the world. Adopting even one, saves a life, and makes you that animal's hero. Please consider adopting a pet. As you can see through our pet pages, there are all ages that can be found, and all different breeds to be found too. there's someone special wating for you. Please give them the oppotunity to show you love.

Hi guys :). Just thought that I'd update this page a little. Through the years I've been happy to take in a few litters of puppies and individual dogs as fosters. I thought that it would be neat to have them all in one place.
Tulip, Gomez, Jarrett and KJ were all from the same litter. They were born to a feral mom, named Daisy. Her conditions were horrible and her owner relinquished custody of her and her puppies to a rescue group when the puppies were only a couple weeks old. They bottle fed really only for about a week or less, then moved up to a dry food mash (which they enjoyed getting EVERYWHERE)! Oh man! Were they ever messy!! They were a fun group of pups to take care of though :). Gomez was my love, and I was hoping to keep him as a brother for Roswell. But he found a great home and fit in there nicely. The others found excellent homes as well. Daisy went into the rescue group to be rehabilitated. I am not sure of her outcome though :(. Poor thing was so scared of everyone and everything.
At the same time as that bunch, we also were taking care of a rottie pup. We called her Brazille and she was later name Lucy when she was adopted. She turned out to be on the small side (only about 40 pounds full grown). Her owner is a very nice lady who had recently lost her rottie to cancer.
Lucy (border collie) was a stray that came in after being hit by a car. She had a broken rear leg, but it didn't seem to bother her a bit. She went through a couple surgeries to try to correct it, and a specialist recommended either amputation, or just seeing how it would fuse on its own. We opted to see how she could do and although she's a bit stiff on the leg, she gets around like nobody's business! She was a natural herder! It was simply amazing to watch her 'herd' things in the yard. She was adopted by the sister of one of the techs.
Auggie was a really neat German Shepherd puppy that my family raised for the Leader Dogs for the Blind. He was a little bit of a challenge for us at the time since we were rather inexperienced when it came to raising and training dogs. I feel bad, but he became a 'career change' puppy and ended up going to a home with one of the people on the waiting list.
And then of course, there are the 'rottie pups' for which this page was originally created. They were a little of 6 puppies that were dropped off at the vet. Four of them survived and went on to get homes through the Rottweiler Rescue of Michigan.
