 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: April 4th 2004
Likes: He loves going to the dog park and running around off the leash. He loves to play ball for hours on end. He loves meeting other pups. He loves rawhide bones (only his grandma can get away with giving them to him.)

Pet-Peeves: Trespassing bunnies, yappy dogs, getting my ears cleaned, yellow snow (how rude).

Favorite Toy: Squeeky Ball and his Dad's right arm "Throw the ball Dadddy!" He is also very fond of soft frisbees.

Favorite Food: Cheese - American, Swiss, String, Cream Cheese, Cheddar, if it is cheese he loves it.

Favorite Walk: Surrey Ridge Dog Park

Best Tricks: Running a fly pattern to catch a deep pass from his Dad. I'll sit if you have cheese or even smell like cheese.

Arrival Story: We got Ranger from a breeder in Conifer, CO. His first ride home was not a happy one...he tossed the cookies that we fed him trying to make him like us...he's not thrilled to ride in the car to this day.

Bio: Ranger comes from a show dog bred line, in fact his sister Charlotte is a Champion. His grandfather was the "Rasta Dog" featured in the Telluride, CO tourism advertising campaign print ads.

Forums Motto: It's good to be a poodle!

If I win the Lottery?: I'd take piano lessons and then I'd take my parents on a cool trip to the French Riviera. I'd also buy every puppy on Dogster a Star so that no one would be without one.

Welcome to my diary...and to my first interactive game with my Dogster Pals. This is great!
I was tagged by my Pal Keighty and now I am following the rules and paying it forward. Here are the rules as outlined by Keighty...
"Because it’s Thanksgiving time, there is a change to the rules. Each player needs to tell seven special things they are thankful for. Tagged dogs must post the rules in their diary and their 7 things. Then choose 7 pups to tag and list their names. Let them know by pawmail or rosette that they have been tagged and to read your diary for the instructions on how to play."
Seven things I'm thankful for:
1. I am thankful for long walks with my folks - they needs lots of exercise.
2. I am thankful for Grandma's - who else would spoil me when my parents travel?
3. I am thankful for King Size Beds...we Standard Poodles need our room.
4. I am thankful for wireless internet access otherwise my diary entries would be severely limited.
5. I am thankful for the Pet Stuff Place near my house - that is where all my good snacks come from.
6. I am thankful for weekends - that's when I get tons and tons of love.
7. I am thankful disposable income - otherwise I think I'd not have too many toys to tear up.
Here's the 7 doggies I'm tagging:
1. Dodie - my cousin in Texas
2. Rocky - my cousin in California
3. Peabody - one of my first pals on Dogster
4. Sahara - I've got a crush on her ;)
5. Yippy - who can resist tagging someone with that name?
6. Arrow - a beautiful silver poodle
7. Bosley - whom I met in person at a local dog park
I hope you all get into the action and tag 7 friends of your own. Happy Thanksgiving to you all.

Many of you have been wondering where I have been since my last entry. Much speculation and curiosity from far and wide. So where have I been you ask again?. Here are the top 10 submissions to where I have been:
10. On a cruise around the world working as a stand up comedian
9. Training for the Irondog Triathalon
8. An intensive French Language Course emersion program in Paris
7. SpaceDog Camp preparing for the first Poodle Space Walk
6. Porsche Driving School perfecting the downshift on the inside turn
5. Out on the links learning to read greens so my putting improves
4. Earning my Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do
3. Studying for the LSAT as a precursor to Law School at Harvard
2. Waiting tables out in Hollywood while auditioning for roles in movies
1. Actually taking those piano lessons 'cause my Daddy won the lottery
Sadly, despite the emense creatvity of my friends, none of these are the reason for my absence. As embarrassed as I am to admit it, I have simply been lazy for a while and busy playing ball with my Mom and Dad, visiting my Grandma (yes, she still gives me those bones), catching a few movies On Demand (Catch & Release was pretty good - I just love Jennifer Garner) and a few other things not really news worthy if you can believe that!
Thanks for checking in on me and letting me know to get back in the game.
I promise to be more regular and timely with my updates.
This is Ranger and it's time to platz (German for lay down...) as it's been a long day.

At this time of year you are either really happy or really sad - with your NCAA Tournament Bracket that is.
This year is no exception. I am pretty sad. I am in next to last place in my pool. My Dad comforted me as much as he could saying this his wasn't much better, but I am still bummed out. We still have a lot of basketball left and I really have no rooting interest left.
Living in Colorado you become a Big 12 fan pretty quickly...with Texas, Kansas, Texas A&M all out of the tourney already who am I going to root for now?
My choices are: Georgetown (what is a Hoya anyway?), Florida, Ohio State and UCLA. We got an unknown Hoya, Gators, Buckeyes (nuts or trees what a choice) or Bruins (which I have on pretty good information are bears).
Based on my knowledge of the animal world...The Bruins will eat the Gators for lunch and will beat which ever team Georgetown or Ohio State makes it to the finals...my logic? Bears eat nuts for snacks and while we still don't know what Hoya is...I'm pretty sure they're tasty and that Bears like them.
UCLA is the next NCAA Champion and you can take that to the bank - probably.
This is Ranger and I hope your bracket looks better than mine. ;)
