I'm Training Mommy

Okay, so here's the deal. We have two neighbors on either side of our house. One's nice and great and the other one is the devil. Mommy and the nice neighbor hate this other neighbor because he complains about everything (especially our barking which he claims is "shrieking"). Excuse me....we're terriers and we are good watch dogs. Barking is what we (me and JoJo) do! Now, since we're leading mommy to believe that we want to please mommy, she's thinking that we are good doggies when it comes to not barking when she has the spray bottle. Not only have we not barked at intruders or the mean neighbor, we have been very very nice! How long will this last until Mommy will not use that dreaded squirt bottle?? I hate water!

It was my birthday!

I turned 5 yesterday! My birthday fun started on Monday and lasted through yesterday evening! I had so much fun! Monday, mommy took me and JoJo for a nice long walk and then off to Petsmart for some new toys! Tuesday, Grandpa came over and surprised us with another fun walk! I can't believe I'm getting so much attention just because I turned 5! Mommy came home early yesterday just so she can spend some quality time with me! Aw...isn't she the best?? She took me and my bro to the park. Guess what we saw? We met a few other pups! I surprised mommy by being nice to all of the pups except for one. Ah well, can't win them all, right? But, I should be expecting some yummy homemade cookies in the mail....hopefully soon because I can't wait to chow down on them! =)

I Hate Bath Time!

It's bad enough that Mommy gave me a bath last week because of my haircut! But another bath today?! Aren't I clean enough?

Well, let me tell you my story. First off, Mommy took me to the Vet's for my "yearly" vaccinations. I was basically blind-sided because I thought she was just gonna take me and JoJo for a walk! That's another thing. Why couldn't JoJo just stayed at home when I could have some alone time with Mommy to begin with? Oh well....the vet's wasn't too bad since the whole thing only lasted less than 5 minutes.

Then, yippee! Off to Grandpa and Grandma's backyard! They have their very own dirt trail with the view of a canyon! Exciting because lately it's been soo hot. The canyon brought a nice breeze to the walk! Well, we came into view of Grandma's backyard and Auntie Jen called us. Of course, we didn't know who was calling us, so we just ran up and over the shrubbery to see who it was! When I came running down, I tripped and landed cheek first into the dirt. I hate being dirty because that only leads to one thing. A BATH!

Well, unbeknownst to me, the bath was headed to both me and JoJo. Mommy couldn't believe how dirty I was! Once all was done and over, I was mad at Mommy and didn't want to give her any kisses. Can you blame me? Well, I couldn't stay mad at her for too long because I love her so much!

Another Year Passes

Well, I had my 4th barkday on Memorial Day. It was pretty relaxing, actually. I don't like to make too much of a fuss. As long as I had mommy at home to veg out all day, I was pretty content. Mommy bought me a bunch of new toys and balls to play "keep away" from my brother, JoJo. Later in the day, all of us went to this soccer field just down the street and ran around for an hour. Boy was I tired! And for my special birthday dinner, I had cooked chicken in my food! It was sooo yummy. Well, JoJo got some too. I don't know why, it's not HIS birthday!

Yay! Mommy's Home!

Since Tuesday, Mommy's been working at home and hanging out with us! I hate it when she has to get up early to go work. Something bad happened at work....people came by and stole some computers?? So Mommy was kind enough to lend her work computer to a designer so she can get some work done. The other designers are at home working or taking care of a new baby! Mommy was hoping to get a quiet week at home, but no sir! There's been a lot of activity coming and going with the servers. Yikes! Good thing I don't have mommy's job! I'm soo happy though that mommy gets to work at home though. Its great having her around all the time!

Yay! I feel way better now!

I'm doing a lot better now. Mommy took me to get checked out last weekend and the vet couldn't find anything wrong with me. I had to take some "get better" medicine and it helped a lot. Day after day mommy was beginning to see that I was starting to be my old self again. A huge break through was a few days ago....I was able to jump on the bed again and was acting all excited when mommy was home! To say the least mommy was so happy that I was back to normal again. She's a little cautious though and won't "help" me stretch out. Oh well.....no biggie.

OH MY BACK!!! YOW YOW YOW!!!

Yikes, I haven't been feeling like myself the past few days. My back isn't normal and I can't jump around like before. Mommy's really concerned for me because she thinks that I'm hurting more than I'm letting her to believe. But I'm walking and trotting along normally and I don't favor any limb in particular. I'm also eating okay. I want to be back to normal (hoping that it'll be soon so mommy can stop worrying so much about me!)
