Likes:
Going to the park. We have an excellent riverfront park here where she can play with other dogs, swim, and run full speed through mud puddles. Most trips to the park end with a bath, but it's worth it.

Pet-Peeves:
The vacuum cleaner. She isn't wild about the lawn mower either.

Favorite Toy:
Towels - she loves to play tug-of-war or just carry them around the house.

Favorite Food:
Peanut butter, no question. Every time I try to make myself a sandwich I get cornered in the kitchen until I put some in her dog bowl.

Favorite Walk:
My parents' neighborhood. It's quiet and off the beaten path, so she can go without a leash and get into all sorts of trouble.

Best Tricks:
She knows the names of several toys - if you tell her to get the ball, she will. She knew the names of the rooms in my old place, but she hasn't learned them here yet.

Arrival Story:
I decided that I wanted a dog so I began visiting the local animal shetler. She was the best dispositioned dog there, super friendly and easy going, but she also had an ornery streak (she had to be separated from her brother that morning). We went for a short walk and that was it, she was mine.
