Arrival Story:
We adopted him from through the Carolina Sibe Rescue. He's had a hard life; surviving heartworms and nearly being gassed in a pound as an abandoned puppy. He lived in a loving foster home for a year before he came to complete our family in June 2004, we'll always be endlessly grateful for his foster Mom's selfless care (she literally saved his life... TWICE). He's very integrated here now. He's a big fat (64.5 pounds, but losing a little) baby... and he sounds like Chewbacca-from-Star-Wars. REALLY. He really, really does. I'm sure the neighbors are convinced we've adopted Grizzly Bear.
