Dear Diary-
I want to know what a diet is. Whatever it is, it can't be good. Mom says that there are only two things stopping me from being in Agility right now. One, my dog aggression. Two, I'm...Overweight?! Money's a small issue at the moment too, but that is beside the point! Mom saying I'm overweight? What is UP with THAT? And then she says my diet starts today? Grr. Whatever that diet thing is does not make me happy, because today we went into the backyard and I did my usual jumping over the Agility jump, go through the tunnel, etc. etc., working on my obedience, but then, instead of going up on the deck and throwing the tennis ball for us, Mom goes to the bottom of the smallish hill in our backyard with the tennis ball. It confuses all of us! But then she throws the ball and we run after it. She does this a few times, and by then we are panting. And the fetching continued. She says get ready to do that more often. WHAT? I can't do that every single day! And then! She comes up to the computer and tells me she is going to find better-for-us food. HUH? No way, Mom. This time you've gone too far. Wayyyyy to far! And less food. >.< I can't believe this!
Well, at least Mom says we might be getting new agility equipment that I can practice with, and that might mean less running up and down that stupid hill. Might =O

Dear Diary-
I have to say, my favorite toy would have to be any tug toy. Mom will hold the other end and we'll both pull. Well I, like some Dals are known for [hehe] am quite stubborn, more like VERY stubborn, actually. But Mom is just as stubborn! So tonight, we were playing tug-o-war and Mom was taking lead, but after a while she started weakening. And no joke-10 minutes later we were still pulling each other around the whole house. Mom was struggling and so was I, but it isn't in mine or Mom's nature to give up and let the other win. But in the end, Izzy came along and was trying to bite at my ankles, making me distracted and weaker, so Mom, with all her might, kept going and stole it. A 15 minute game- can you believe that?! Mom thinks she'll stick to throwing tennis balls in the back yard for now, it might not make her arms are sore, BOL!

Mickey-
I remember the day I got you. I was ECSTATIC about FINALLY getting a Dal, after wanting one since my 1st birthday. See, a close family friend got me a big stuffed Dalmatian toy and being one year old- I thought it was real, and I was afraid of it! But now all of my relatives say that in my younger days they never saw me without it. I had Dalmatian stickers on my wall, Dalmatian bed sheets, clothes, and of course, stuffed animals!
I remember I had spent the night over at my Grandma's house because my parents were "at a Christmas party" 4 years ago. They picked us up from my Grandma's house and said "Ok, we are going to one of your Mom's clients houses to pick up work, then we'll go home", and when we got there my sister and I were whining, saying we didn't want to go inside the house. But then we saw something running beyond the fence, and wouldn't you know it- it was two adult Dalmatians! My Dad said "Oh look, they have Dalmatians!" and by then I was out of the car and at the front door, haha! I knew something was fishy when the person in the house said "Want us to bring all of them out?" and I gave my parents a weird look while they said "Yes", and a few seconds later 10 Dalmatian puppies came running up to me with wagging tails and lots of spots- MY ABSOLUTE DREAM! But one of them stood out. He was a bit slower but was still running. He pushed his way through and jumped on me, but then went to his bed. While I played with the other pups the breeders showed us one that was show quality. He was beautiful! But this one dog still stood out to me, can you guess who? ;] So I went over to the dog bed and carefully lifted up the puppy sleeping on top of the dog with Mickey Mouse ears and lifted Mickey Mouse up. He looked up at me with sleepy eyes but fell asleep once again. I told my parents "I want this one" and we took you home that day.
And I have loved you ever since then. Now, I know you are incredibly stubborn but are even more smart. As you know, my Mom is not a dog lover, but no matter how many times she said training you was not possible, I proved her wrong. You are excellent on a leash now and are learning new things every single day. You have me wondering each and every day how I ever lived without you.
I love you, Mouse!
