Ruby was being kept at a "mechanics shop". She wasn't spayed, so she had a litter of pups (who all got adopted) and she was left to just exist. She didn't get any loving until she was adopted by the founder of Ruff Riders Rescue.
Bio:
In order to save Ruby’s life we had to put her in a boarding kennel…since her forever home has not yet been found, Ruby has had to live in a kennel for way too long. She really, truly needs to get out and into a home situation where she can thrive. The kennel is better than her dismal life before, but sweet Ruby is so deserving of a loving home…it’s heartbreaking for our volunteers to put her back into her kennel at the end of her daily playtime. Ruby is a wiggly love-bug with everyone she meets. After all the hardship she has been through and the surgeries she’s had to endure in order to heal her, Ruby would be a loyal, grateful companion to anyone who would show her kindness. At 47 pounds, Ruby is somewhat petite, and she has learned to come, sit and stay. Ruby is about 2 years old. She is an absolute doll and has a sweet, affectionate temperament.
