Likes: Going along on car rides, chasing the hose, climbing in bed with Mom and Dad, and lots and lots of attention and she won't stop bothering you until she gets it!
Pet-Peeves: People who don't like pit bulls for no reason, Breed Specific Legislation, FDAFB, annoying dogs, wearing her harness.
Favorite Toy: Socks, water bottles, and the hose.
Favorite Food: Salmon, carob, yogurt, cheese, and ice cream (from a spoon, not a cone).
Favorite Walk: Anywhere it's not raining.
Best Tricks: Back flips, opening the backseat car window (thank god for childproof windows and automatic window locks), and ringing the potty bell on the door when it's time to wake up Mom and Dad!!
Arrival Story: She was born to a breeder, who didn't want her because she was the runt. He took her away from her mom and left her outside to die. :( Then a family saw her and decided to adopt her. Unfortunately, they had another pit bull that didn't like her, so they kept her outside. Luckily, it was the summer time, not winter. A friend of the family decided to be her foster family until they could find her a permanent home. That friend was my fiance's co-worker.
His co-worker took her to the company's annual picnic where we saw her and knew from the very first minute that she was our puppy!!
Bio: Nala is a human stuck in a dogs body. She is quite the clever girl, often telling on her brother when he gets into trouble. She loves giving kissies especially to her daddy. And if you let her, she'll cuddle with you for hours and hours.

I've Been On Dogster Since:
So I got a little brother. I was excited when I first heard the news, but then I wasn't so sure. When Mama and I went to pick him up, he was just a puny little thing. I couldn't even play with him.
Well, it's been almost two months since Titus came to live with us. He's a nice kid, but he has a lot to learn! Mom and Dad are pretty busy, never to busy for me though, but they are busy. So I've taken it upon myself to help around the house. I hate cleaning, so I refuse to do that. But I thought I would help Mom and Dad raise Titus and help to make him a good dog like me. I've already taught him how to "sit."
He gets a little annoying sometimes, especially when he snores at night and I'm trying to sleep. Geez, can someone invent nose strips for dogs?? And he always wants whatever I have. C'mon kid, think of something new! But I don't mind having him around. He makes for good company when Mom and Dad are doing chores around the house.
I'm getting a little brother. His name is Titus and we take him home the second week of September. He's too small right now to be away from his dog mama. Mommy and Daddy a busily getting the house ready for him. I hope he likes to play as much as me!!
It's been almost a year since little Nala became a part of our family. And little Nala is not so little anymore :) I remember the morning after we took her home. I woke up and saw this little puppy lying on her little bed. She was so cute. Then I took her upstairs to feed her. That's when I learned my first lesson as a dog Mom. Breakfast is second, going to the potty is FIRST! I remember thinking to myself, "what are we doing with a dog!" Well, Nala quickly learned that if she needed to go to potty, she had to be taken outside! Since then, it has been quite a fun learning experience with her and I can't imagine our family without our little girl!
We never expected to get a dog so soon, let alone a pit bull! But how could we not open our home to such a sweet dog who needed a good home. Our parents were a little worried about the fact that she was a pit bull, but she quickly captured their hearts :) How could you not grow to love a little puppy who needs to be tucked into bed by her dad, who greets you at the door with a wagging little butt, and who attacks you with slobbery kisses? Whenever I'm sad for whatever reason, Nala runs to me jumps on my lap and licks my face until I start to laugh. If she hears something strange outside of our house, she gets up out of bed, barks like crazy until whatever she hears has stopped, and then runs to our room to make sure we're okay. Now tell me that I have a vicious dog!
Nala's family will soon get bigger. We're planning on having kids in a few years, but for now, we're planning on adopting another little pit so that Nala has a little brother. Once you get a pit, you can't stop!
