When you see the full moon that me watching the family and furamily. Wow, you got a new doggie and a new human. I sure would like to meet the little guy.
It's hard to believe that Buddy left us a year ago. One minute he was with us and the next minute he was gone. We will never forget the words from the vet "He's Gone". We will always remember the horrible decision to put him to sleep. It's a decision no one has to make. We will always remember Buddy as a fighter. A fighter who lasted a year longer than the vets could ever imagine. In the end, the cancer won, but Buddy won our hearts over the 11 years that we had him.
We remember the cloudy dreary day that we brought home a 3 year old pup, that the previous pawrents did not want. Buddy knew he had found a forever home.
Buddy knew that we were thinking of him last night. Daddy took Marlon and Gigi to the Bark Park and were surrounded by numerous "Buddy" dogs.
There will never be another Buddy, but there will always be another dog in need. We did our part for Buddy and when it was through, we saved Marlon from death row.
I just want to wish everybody and everydog a Happy 4th of July. We all have different histories, political views, and perceptions, but the 4th of July is the one day that we can come together and celebrate the freedom we have as Americans.
I sure wish I was on Earth celebrating the 4th with my Pawrents and Gigi, but I accept my fate and I'm so happy that I was able to spend many moons with them.
