Arrival Story:
My family was driving home from a Christmas morning buffet, and my husband suddenly swerved to avoid hitting what I thought was a squirrel. "No," he said, "it's a little dog... get out and see if he has a tag."
He did have a tag: it said "PeeWee" and had a phone number, but the number turned out to be disconnected. We planned to put up posters and look for his people, but that night my daughter was cuddling him, and found a BB lodged in his ankle. It had been there long enough that the skin and hair were growing over the BB, even though the little guy was clearly still a puppy. My husband carefully removed the BB.
Given his bad home haircut, the disconnected phone number on his tag, and especially his unattended injury, we decided that "PeeWee" might be better off with us.
Bio:
Remy loves to kill his leash when he goes out... he grabs the leash and shakes it as hard as he can. He also loves to kill his toys if an electric scooter or some other perceived threat passes the house. He loves it when visitors come over. He likes to bring them one of his toys to show it off, then he tries to get them to take it away from him and throw it. His favorite game is: "I have a toy, don't you want it?!?"
