I'm spending my first birthday at the rainbow bridge this year, Murph's mom hopes I'm having a big birthday bash! I would have been 14 on November 18th, normally Murph's mom would bring me something for my birthday and my mom would get me a new toy. Maybe Murph's mom will buy a balloon and let it go in the sky, maybe I'll get it up here! Murph's mom misses me so much, she never thought it would be this hard! She sees my picture hanging in her room and immediately remembers all the fun times we had together. I want to thank Bambi for my beautiful birthday wings, means so much to us! Murph's mom loves me so much and hopes I'm young, pain free and running around with some friends again.
I was 4 years old when I first met you... you were a tiny little puppy always playful. I remember first meeting you it was love at first sight, you were a fluffy little thing. You grew as I grew but you grew much faster, before I knew it you were bigger than me. I remember going over to your house just to see you and nobody else (shh). We would have sleep overs, I used you as a pillow and you were a very comfortable pillow hehe. I remember throwing your bone frisbee out back and you would always bring it back or wait for me to go get it because I tossed it over the fence by accident. When you brought it back I never cared how much slobber was over it because the whole point of the game was just to have fun. I remember your mom taught you how to play hide and seek around the big tree in the back yard, that was a really fun game peeking around and seeing you there then you chasing me around the tree. I remember when your first furless kid came and you were so sweet to him, always allowing him to tug at your fur or ears and they say Akita's should be banned. You were my first best friend Teddy... even if you were a dog you were the greatest friend I've ever had growing up.
Teddy I'll miss you but I know you're up there running free, young again and playing frisbee again. No pain in your legs anymore, maybe even running and playing with other dogs and not having any worries in the world. I know your family is going to miss you so much, nobody will ever forget you pretty girl.
