the dying fly! bringing her lead, her coat and YOUR coat into the room when SHE wants to go out

Arrival Story:
Sophie was dumped by travellers in Dublin (probably because she is awful with most dogs unless they are other Salukis or Greyhounds). This beautiful dog chose us. We visited the rescue centre and found a note stuck onto her pen saying that she NEVER comes out and if you were interested in looking at a Saluki to fetch the staff. I visited four or five times and never saw the mystery dog, we turned up with the children on a Sunday and she came bounding down the run "play bowing" in front of the children and racing back inside again out of sight, this went on for about 20 minutes, the staff were amazed ... we were hooked!! She has been fantastic, settled into family life after about 2 minutes in the car!!
