Leave a bone for Fred

Nicknames: Fredrick, FatMan, Piggly Wiggly, WhirlyGig, Fredella(one of his more hated ones) , Hell Hound, Brown Dog, And of Course there's "You remember, Aunt Phyilss he's the one who bit Grandpa." OOO there's a new one now! Fredello(with a real Long Island accent)

Quick Bio:
Likes: Food, Herding Things, this includes: The Cow rug, our Cat, People who he assumes are going in the wrong direction, The lawn mower, Various wildlife, and of course the basics like cows and sheep.

Pet-Peeves: Other Dogs except for three close dog buddies

Favorite Toy: His rubber ring also known as his Donut.

Favorite Food: Meat of any sort and carrots. Basically he enjoys eating things that were once living and now are not.

Favorite Walk: In the back woods of the country house.

Best Tricks: Sitting up and lifting up his front legs when someone yells Goal!!! or if someone says big finish at the end of an old movie.

Arrival Story: We had recently lost our previous corgi Fido to cancer, so we went to our local no kill shelters and scouted out corgis . We were in search for an older corgi but only found a corgi/staffie bull mix puppy. A little brown ball of fluff who recently recovered from Parvo. Perfect. We adopted him. Yay!!! Of course we had him neutered. Then eight years later he's a big, fat and happy brown dog but the important thing is he is our big,fat and happy brown dog.

Bio: Fred has done nothing but love, protect and has enriched the lives of myself and my family. That's why I always say " Don't buy, don't breed, Adopt from your local no-kill shelter. And of course Spay and Neuter America!"

The day I died... It really sucked... I died on September 5th 2006... I got an infection...didn't tell anybody... Then my kidneys started to fail... The doctor said there was nothing anybody could do. I was on alot of pain medication... When it started to wear off it really sucked... But before I died I got to see my Mommy and Daddy, Elizabeth and even Evan came to say good bye... I don't like to see them cry... They all kissed me and petted me till I fell asleep. Don't worry there is no pain where I am now... I can't wait to see my family again... To all of you who loved and cared for me I want you to know I'm in a better place... There's alot of chicken here... and BACON! And all the cats run slow... I miss everybody but I know that one day I'll get to see you all again...

Hey, you probably already know I have some new pictures of me! Yay! Well let me tell you about them. The first one is of me on my first New Year's Eve party. I sipped some champagne that was in a glass on the floor. "Thank You Aunt Gina!" And well as you can see all the excitement plus the champagne really knocked me out. Well while I was asleep someone shot this photo of me. Dont you hate when people take pictures of you when you're asleep. The next couple of ones are just of me hanging around my apartment. Then I have some pictures of me outside the country house. I think I look sporty in those pictures. The last one is of me, the first day I arrived in my new home. Iwas actually quite tiny but you cant tell in that photo. Well I hope my little entry made my new well not so new pictures of me more enjoyable. -Fred

Yo ya'll know I love NYC, born and raised. We took a trip to the country house. O man it was awesome. Our neighbors have a cow and horse sancturary where the rescue livestock before they are put up for auction and eventually end up in a can of Dog Chow. My loss. We'll at this farm the animals are allowed to live out the rest of their lives as pets. I made friends with two horses and a cow! One horse Bullet was bred and trained to be a race horse but shattered his left front leg during a "Fun Run" in the rain. The other horse Bolt was born on a "farm". The man who owned the "farm" often beat Bolt so now she is very skiddish but she likes me! The cow Kahlua is a jersey cow who was on a slaughter house that was shut down because the owners couldn't pay their taxes so the government repossesed their "farm". There were a whole lot of cows but I couldn't play with all of them so a stayed with Bullet, Bolt and Kahlua. Now I'm back in my apartment happy but yet not satisfied, I can't wait 'till I go back to visit my friends. - Fred
