Arrival Story:
Same as Toro When my human mommy's bestfriend (Sandlin, a Golden Retriever) had passed, they took some advice to not wait and get another puppy friend as soon as possible. While in the process of their research someone had mentioned, "why not get two?" Since they could not think of any good reasons not to...and so it was. They travled over three hours to pick us up on New Years Day 2005. We had so much fun on the way home getting to know each other and thinking up names. I got my name because my human daddy's sign is a Leo and he really wanted a yellow lab, and so it fit and my human mommy is a taurus and really wanted a black lab so Toro it was.

Bio:
Leo the Lion could not be a more perfect name. Leo is so happy lying around curled up on the couch when its cold, or on the sun spot on the floor like a big cat. He patrols the yard before turning in for the night and even though is bark is not much of a roar, more like high pitched ringing in your ears, he gets his point across. He holds all the authority and runs on a tight schedule. Will let you know when its time to eat and will not stop letting you know until its done. He plays referee when other dogs are in play with Toro and makes sure every one is playing nice. Leo protects and patrols, always on duty. Leo loves his new baby companion Jack.
