Arrival Story:
5 puppies were homeless in Miami. Abandoned Pet Rescue took them from the streets of Miami. We adopted his 2 brothers first-Buster(the strongest) and Brewster(the weakest-he was sick and traumatized). While volunteering at the shelter I realized that Sandman was very sweet but afraid of people. Because of his fear of people he did not get adopted and spent many years at the shelter. We had 3 sick older cats at this time and could not take him. We finally adopted him and reunited him with his brothers.
Bio:
Sandman is very sweet and smart. He is still afraid of loud noises and people. He had a rough start in life, but he is a surviver and each day he gets less fearful of his surroundings.
