   Leave a bone for Sassy

Teegee's Lil' Miss Sassy Pants CGC RA, Daddies Little Girl, Sassimo, The Sassinator, Dave's "Lap Wart"(she is a perminant fixture of Dave's lap), Sweetheart(No kidding, my husband calls her this!)

Doggie Dynamics:
not playfulvery playful

Sun Sign:
Quick Bio:

December 15th 2006

To wrestle with Gracie, playing fetch, learning new stuff (treats are involved) and ringing the bell by the door so we will let her outside because she wants to run around like a lunatic!

Having to hold a down stay while we eat dinner, being told to leave it (she will now spit out the forbidden object and give you a look like "Well, what am I suposed to do? My toys are so passe.) Spray bottles

Favorite Toy:
Her mini tennis ball, Gracie, balls too large for her to grab.

Favorite Food:
If it can be eaten, then it is her favorite.

Favorite Walk:
As long as it's not too cold out, she seems to enjoy anywhere we go. Pet stores are good-and warm! She also gets to go to work with her Daddy and he walks her at lunch.

Best Tricks:
She will do all basic obedience exercises, rally O, shake hands, sit up, turn around, hold a treat on her nose, go down a slide, play dead and jump into your arms.

Arrival Story:
My Mother had to have her long time Boston Terrier friend put to sleep and she wanted another Boston, preferably related to Gracie. After a long wait, the pups were born. We worked with them as often as possible and both my mother and my husband had to have one! I picked the calmer, more willing to please pup for my Mother and my husband wanted the one with the (evil genius?) glint in her eye!

Sassy is way too smart, sometimes stubborn, happy to learn anything new and not afraid of anything! Oh, did I mention that she is very SASSY? I was calling her Lil' Miss Sassy Pants and it stuck! Sassy is the brindle and white pup and her sister Taz is the black and white pup. Sassy is definitely my husbands dog. She likes me and likes me to teach her things, but my husbands lap is where you will find her!

I've been tagged!

My pal Isabelle tagged me!!
Here are the rules of this dogster game of "tag" in case you've never gotten a chance to play. When you are tagged, you post 7 random facts about yourself, compose a "new DIARY entry" along with the rules and put them in your own DIARY. Then you pick 7 furs (kitties or doggies) to tag but make sure you tell them... a simple p-mail will do fine, or a rosette to tell them, but you must let them know that they have been tagged. Post their names also in your DIARY.

1 I don't chase lazer pointers. Instead I chase Gracie when she chases the lazer pointer.

2 I go to work with my daddy every day.

3 I HATE it when someone blows on my butt!! (dad says he'll stop blowing on my but when I stop sticking my butt in his face!)

4 My newest trick is jumping up into my Daddies arms and he catches me!

5 I like to play fetch with my mini tennis ball Chuckit.

6 I like popcorn! I'm also learning to speak up so that Daddy KNOWS that I want popcorn!

7 My favortite play pal is my true to life sister Taz who lives with Granma!

We did it!

Yes, Daddy and I did it! We passed our Canine Good Citizen or CGC test! My sister Taz and Gramma passed too! Mom is so proud of us all!

I'm now enrolled in the novice class along with my sister Taz. After this class Daddy is going to see if we can get my Companion Dog or CG title! I can't wait!

One Saturday we all went to the Boston Terrier puppy match and potluck. We arrived too late for the puppy match but Mom and Daddy were encouraged to show me in conformation. See? I'm not the only one who thinks I'm good looking!

They had all sorts of fun and games at the potluck! I won the hotdog dunking contest! Can you believe that none of the other Bostons wanted to eat a hotdog? Gracie won the Costume contest with her scarecrow costume! We had fun but didn't win in any other contests! It was neat to see so many Bostons like me!

Well, thats all for now. I have to behave myself cause Mom has got her eye on me. Darn!

Snorts and xoxo,

Back to School

I'm back to school again, but this time Daddy and I are going to the class where we learn to get our Canine Good Citizen or CGC title. It's fun. I'm the youngest puppy in the class! Some of my pals from the basic obedience class are here too!!Cool!!

I finished the Basic obedience class two weeks ago and I did really good! I'll tell you how really good I did! I won 2 out of the three blue ribbons that were given out for winners of the last day of class games!

One Blue Ribbon I won for The Fastest to Respond to Comands Game! I've got this down, sit, and stand on comand thing "down pat' as mom says.

The other Blue Ribbon I won in a tie with my sister Taz! This was for The longest Down Stay With Distactions Game. The instructors tried all sorts of things to get us to break our down stay, but Taz and I wouldn't move. Finally they brought out a metal folding chair and threw it into the center of the ring! How unfair! You try being still when something really loud comes crashing down behind you!! Taz and I both jumped up startled from our down stays and looked toward the center of the ring! Then we both sat down. It was decided that it was a tie!

The last game was The Perfect Heeling Contest. I came in third because I did a sloppy sit while heeling. Oh well, Daddy and I are working on better sits.

I can't win all the blue ribbons in the world. I am trying to learn to accept this sad but true fact.

It's time to say Good-Bye for now. I am trying to fight off the temptation to chew up the paper, and Daddy looks like he's ready to take me off to His Work!

Snorts and xoxo,

Ps. Try chewing up one of your Ribbons that you win! I'ts fun and it makes your Daddy do funny things!
