Best Tricks: Sitting Pretty Arrival Story: Dad (Tom) and Mama (Jeannette) left early one morning with Lindsey and Joseph and made the drive to Weatherford to look at a litter of dauschunds. Mama and Grandad had a dauschund and Mom had wanted one since Sugar was such an excellent dog. Mama had picked up all of the puppies to see which one looked the best (eyes, coat, etc.) and acted loving. Mama picked Schotzi because when Mama picked her up she cuddled in Mama's arms. Mama said we have a Winner! They decided to get Schotzi. They took Schotzi to the vet to get her shots and everything then took her home to meet Mom. Mama told Mom that if she didn't want Schotzi that she would take her. But Mom feel in love with her instantly! Mom searched long and hard for her name since Dauschunds originate in Germany Mom wanted her to have a German name and searched out the advice of others.
