Arrival Story:
Dad wanted to buy me a dog to teach me some responsibility. We looked at the pound and other places trying to find a dog. While looking I found lots of dogs that I liked but, Dad really wanted to get me a Female Lab. Upon coming back from vacation we started our search for dogs again. On Sunday, August 3, 2003, Dad was looking in the paper and saw an ad in the Classfieds for 8 week old Female Lab Pups in Stephenville, Tx. Which was a good 1-2 hr drive. When dad called to inquire there was only 2 puppies left. Sarah told dad if they were gonna do it she was gonna go to. Mom really didn't want me to get a big dog. So, Dad, Sarah and I pilled in Sarah's car and made the long drive to Stephenville to look at the puppy. Upon arriving there we found out she was the last puppy left. Lucy was a very active puppy she was very playful and adorable. She played with me very well and Dad liked that so, he said if I liked her we could take her home! The family that had her lived in the county and she was infested with fleas but, we brought her home and gave her a bath and cleaned her up! I named her Lucy because the I Love Lucy show is on of my favorite T.V. Shows and I wanted her name to be something I could remember easily and spell easily. She has lived up to her name quite well!

Bio:
Lucy is like any other lab pup she is hyper as anything! When we got her everyone keep telling us she would calm down in a year to two years and all we could think is we are in for a BIG treat. Well Lucy is now 1 years of age and is already starting to calm down just a little bit but, not much. She is truly a blessing in our household to have she sure keeps Joseph on his toes!
