Birthday: April 23rd 1990 Likes: Playing Frisbee; wading in creeks, lakes, etc.; long walks, obedience. Pet-Peeves: Strangers, not being able to find a Frisbee, getting in trouble. Favorite Toy: Frisbee Favorite Food: Everything Favorite Walk: Anywhere there was a body of water to wade in. Best Tricks: All of them...she was an obedience machine, she could do all commands either by voice or hand signals. Arrival Story: I saw a Blue Merle Sheltie at a dog show & just HAD to have one. After research about the gene & any potential health risks...the hunt was on for a breeder. Two years later ~ I found Miss Sniff...she was everything I could have ever dreamed for. She got too tall for the breed, and she never did really come into her full coat...but she was healthy and loved obedience and Frisbee. She competed yearly in the Come~N~Get It Frisbee competition. We never won...or even placed for ribbons...we usually fell in the middle of the pack. But that didn't matter...she would always have a BLAST! And that's all that counted to me. Miss Sniff was also the 4th dog in Kansas to be certified & licenced as a Therapy Dog. She served as a Therapy Dog for 4 years, from 1993~97 at a local Hospice Facility. Bio: Miss Sniff was assisted to the Bridge in the spring of 2003. Forums Motto: Got Frisbee??? The Last Forum I Posted In: Therapy Dog Test I've Been On Dogster Since:
