Arrival Story:
A friend of mine asked me what kind of dog I would recommend for his son. I unknowingly described Donovan and received him as a gift for my graduation from LSU.
Bio:
He was with me from August 29 1994 until he died of natural causes January 11 2007. He was a wonderful dog, so much more than we ever expected. A gentleman to the end he saved me the horrible decision to have him euthanized but if I had any inkling of how bad his last hour would be, I would have gladly done it. He died on the way to the vet.
Two weeks after he died I had a dream and Donovan was with my first dog, Bonnie and our beloved little Crestie, Olympia and we were all together. Bonnie was in my lap and Donovan and Olympia were on two legs , tails wagging. I didn't want to wake up.
