Arrival Story:
Sophie was abandoned as a puppy at a small country store in Oregon. Some friendly dog-loving people rescued her and brought her home with them, but couldn't keep her due to their apartment lease. We had suffered the loss of our beloved Rubyanne a few months earlier, and my mother-in-law saw the puppy on Craigslist and thought she would cheer us up! She was told Sophie was most likely a St. Bernard mix - which was a little off - but she sure is cute!
