Arrival Story:
We loved our first Basset so much we decided to get another from the same breeder to give Bogie a brother. We got first pick of the litter & fell in love with him because he looked so different from all the other pups....so asymetrical!!! All was well until he was neutered at age 6 months & developed bloat after the surgery. We had to rush him back to the vet & he almost died. He suffered lack of blood & oxygen to his brain long enough to leave him slightly.....shall we say, mentally challenged. From then on he had CRS...can't remember sh*t!! It took 4 years to get him house trained because he regressed!! But he was the sweetest lovebug in the world.
