Waking me at night to make me turn over in bed. Likes me to turn on right side so she can lie across my neck. She won't do it if I'm turned to the left (I think it might be because she'd be facing away from the doorway)??
Arrival Story:
I saw my first mini at a soccer game and was obsessed with getting one. I was working very long hours and wanted to wait until I retired, which I did in June 2003. My friends at work knew I planned to get a mini dox and they gave me a "puppy shower" as a farewell gift. I did want to adopt from a PA breeder, but she had no pups at the time so she referred me to a friend upstate NY.
Bio:
Cookie was 7 oz. at birth and was born very close to where I grew up near the Finger Lakes in NY. She is a black and tan mini wire and she has filled the gap in this "empty-nester's" life. I have kids and grandkids, but now I'm a new "mom" again and I love it!
