Best Tricks: Poncho and Peaches do a Wrestlemania move we have decided to call the "helicopter;" Peaches gets herself across Poncho's back, and then he whirls around several times in an effort to get to her (she's just out of reach) ...or get her off!
Arrival Story: We adopted Peaches *07/03/04* through Seattle Purebred Dog rescue. (http://www.spdrdogs.org/) We wanted to add a dog to our family so that Poncho would have someone to play with all the time, and knew that another doxie would ensure that they were size-matched. Plus, we love doxies. They are guaranteed to make you laugh every day... Peaches was perfect for the job. She is smaller, but a seasoned dog wrestler and really fast and wiley. They played for five hours straight last night, until we finally put them to bed at 1am!! They bonded very quickly - sharing toys and sleeping side by side after less than a day together.
Bio: Peaches is soooo food motivated...she snarfs her food down in an instant and is ready to eat Poncho's, too, before he has even decided that he might be interested. (we have decided to feed them separately).
Peaches has learned about cats - sorta. Poncho buffers Peahces x cat aggression. She loves Punkin' - the little old lady of the house. We have taken to calling Punkin' "Puppy Crack."

I've Been On Dogster Since:
So lately I have been going naked. There was some gunk on my collar, so Dad took it off. I look really great naked, because you can see the dark "necklace" around my neck and it really accentuates the lighter fur on my chest.
Plus, since I don't jingle with my tags, I can sneak up on Jordan and pounce on him!
You may have noticed how great I look in my little sun dress. It really accentuates by doxie figure and blue is a great color for me.
Some flowers are growing in my yard and I notice more dogs going for walks in my neighborhood. Before long, things will dry up and I will be able to go to the dog park.
Plus, there is this new guy who is hanging out with my pack. I am such a great wrestler I can pin hum down even though he's longer. He has rotten manners, though, and he just waltzes off with my stuff sometimes. I'm so not down with that.
But back to my dress. I really like the ruffle. My sister has one, too, but it just looks so much better on me. Don't you think?
