The real way Medea lost her tail:
Medea is some what of a unique German Shepard. When she was born and her mom was cleaning off the pups, she accidently bit off most of Medea's tail. She has many, many people ask what happened and now you all know the story. Dont worry she hardly ever misses it!!

Medea loves to collect rocks. She has a wonderful collection that she started about six years ago. Only the best ones make the cut!

The story of how Medea lost her tail::
By Dutch There you were, driving along with Medea in the car when you came upon a school bus of orphans...victims of an accident in the snow. Their cowardly head mistress/bus driver had fled lest she be asked about the jug tucked ever so carefully behind the driver's seat. You and Medea sprang in to action and began the evacuation, soothing their tears and smoothing their hair. But then a cry from the wreckage, Medea's ears peaked and she was off like a shot. As fire began to lick through the bus a wee orphan, clutching a teddy bear had been left behind! The brave dog, ran through the smoke into the bus..."Nooooooo" you pleaded, grabbing for her collar and getting only air. Then the explosion! And just when all thought it was lost, a single heroic German Shepherd pulls a child through the window and onto the snow - safe and sound. The only loss is part of her tail which she will wear as a badge of honor forever. Tell them that and if they need a witness give them my number I saw the whole thing."

I’ve been tagged by my good pal Dutch! If you have been tagged by me this is what you have to do. We have to answer 4 questions in our diary and tag 4 friends.

Here goes...

Name 4 jobs that you have:
1. My current job is to make sure no kitties stay in my neighborhood.
2. I am the watcher of Daddy. I make sure he stays in line, I answer only to Mommy!
3. I used to be the official Canadian de-stuffer of toys but have since move on to other gainful employment.
4. I am the resident Diva of my block. Its a title that is very dear to my heart.

Name 4 places where you have lived (or stayed at):
1. I was born in Vineland Ontario
2. I have lived the rest of my life with Mommy in St.Catharines Ontario, in the Niagara Region. Souther Ontario. Canada
3. I am not a very good long distance traveler. I have been to Mom' s Mom's house 1 time about 45 min away. That was fun I suppose.
4. I like going to Grandpa's house. He has a fun yard that has loads of good smells.

Name 4 places that you have been:
1. Montabello park
2. Niagara shores conservation area
3. The Welland Canal Path way.
4. Hamilton Ontario...not that exciting..

Name 4 places you'd rather be:
1. In the snow making snow angels
2. Sleeping on Mommy's bed
3. Eating more food or perhaps some fishy fudge
4. Did I mention that I would really like to be in some snow?

I just wanted to post that our GSD family and dogster family has lost a member. Ekko Bleu Vomspeerhaus.

Ekko was taken from her family far to soon. Her Mom and family will miss her dearly. All of us in the GSD forum will miss her too.

We miss you Ekko, be free puddin pup!

Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet
goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special
friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water
and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor;
those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we
remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy
and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special
to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops
and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body
quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green
grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet,
you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy
kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and
you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from
your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
