Arrival Story:
After the passing of Rhys I was thinking about getting another dog but I wasn't sure I was ready. A friend of a friend had a mixed breed female that recently had puppies. I agreed to go look at the puppies but said "I'm not ready for a new puppy just yet". When I got there I saw a number of primarily black puppies that were all playing with each other and showed no interest in any human companionship. Then a big bellied, little yellow guy came over and put himself right at my feet. When he looked up at me it was "love at first sight". He's been with me ever since and continues to brighten up my days.
Bio:
I love my family and try my best to be a good boy eventhough I always seem to be getting "hurt" some how. I'm always managing to get scrapes from chasing squirrels up trees in the back yard or boo-boos from playing to rough with Kea. Mom says I have a dueling scar from the time I developed an auricular hematoma that had to be drained. While I healed just fine, my left ear is now floppy at the top and doesn't want to stand up any more. I worry about Yoda when she doesn't move as fast as she once did (of course she's at least 16, if not older) and try to run to her aid when I hear her call. I just love attention and every morning I sit on Mom's lap when she is having her coffee and watching the early news.

Hey can anyone help me?? Yesterday this white stuff started falling from the sky and now it is all over the ground. Mom is calling it "snow" but I've never really seen this before. It squishes under my feet when I walk and its really cold. Kea seems to like playing in it but it just makes me cold. I thought it would go away last night but its still here.

So Mom went and got me some new food. It is for sensitive stomachs and it has different stuff compared to my other food. She's gonna see how I do with this cuz I was starting to get toooo skinny. The other food tastes yucky but this new food is bowl licking good. I'm hoping that she gives me more than usual. Kea's jealous cuz she doesn't get to snarf up any of my left overs anymore.

Oooh, Mom, Kea & I just came in from playing outside. It was so much fun to run and chase Kea with Mom's help. Kea isn't nearly as rough when Mom's there. When we finished I just laid down on the grass and scratched my back!!
I'm such a lucky guy to have such a great family. We're getting ready to go for a ride in the car next. I wonder what Mom's got up her sleeve??
