Arrival Story: Well, I, his owner Brandy, wanted a dog since I had to give up my purebred black lab like 7 years before. So my brother and fiance went out to the Humane Society, while I was at work and had no clue, to see some dogs. My fiance saw Smokey and just knew somehow that he was and is the puppy for me. Thay got him and tried getting me to come home early from work. When I made it home, they were being all sneaky so I walked in the door anyways and here came this little 4 month old gray puppy towards me, with his head down, tail between his legs hoping his new mummy liked him. Oh he was so cute!
Bio: Smokey is a beautiful mix-breed dog. He is part weimaraner, chocolate lab and sharpei. He has skin problems, ear problems and all that other fun stuff. Whoever owned him before weren't the nicest owners but at least they gave him to a shelter instead of abandoning him. He had some rashes and ear mites when we got him so now we are very careful with him. Every dog loves to be outside, just my dog but he can't be outside very much do to his skin so he is an inside dog. But he loves parks (St Pete Dog park, Largo/East Bay Paws Place and Gulf to Bay doggy Park) , the beach( Fort de Soto, St Pete beaches, Clearwater beaches), the doggy store( Pet Supermarket, PetSmart) but I'm still looking for other places I can take him, like dog friendly restaurants, stores stuff like that. Smokey is a very fun loving dog. He is spoiled and thinks he's a real boy sometimes. Smokey is protective of me and LOVES to sleep in our bed with us. He is a very pretty color. When we first got him, he was really gray but now grayish brown with a dark streak down his back. He isn't a large dog. He's short, really slender 60lbs( yeah I know his weight says he's a large dog, but he's really not) with lil ears and a curled tail. He gets really excited easily and jumps all over you ( we are having trouble getting him to not do that). He has light brown eyes with the lab snout and the sharpei head and ears. He doesn't have the rolly skin of the sharpei. But he sure has the skin problems! I love new friends! Hit me up anytime, maybe we'll meet at the park one day. Thanks!

Sorry I haven't been around. Mummy has been slacking in her, erhm, dogster duties.
Well mummy and daddy got a new car! I LOVE it. It's a Ford Explorer and I have so much run to move and my own air conditioner. It's so cool. I've met tons of dogs through the windows of the beast. I tried escaping today after my daddy by rolling down the window. Mummy and Jamie were SOOOO mad. They have to lock the windows on me now. LOL
Mummy has been off all week long and it's so great to spend time with her, even though she's on neopets.com almost 24 hours a day.
I love being outside! Mummy got me my medicine so now I don't itch as much. But do I ever get in trouble when I scratched my itches!
Sorry I haven't been on in a while or to the park in a while! Mummy hasn't been feeling very well and my uncle Chase has been over so I've been playing with him and trying to behave for mummy.
I did runaway the other night. Boy was mummy ever mad. I don't like making my mummy mad but I wanted to go explore! She was afraid I was going to get hit by car or someone would steal cuz I'm so purdy. Why do I have to be a purdy boy? Why can't I just be a boy?
But my daddy comes home tomorrow! Yipeeeeee! I miss my daddy. Mummy and daddy are going to take me to crest lake to play later this week. Maybe I'll meet some of you there.
Annabelle the cat and I are finally getting along. I swear she taunts me on purpose so she can hiss and swat my nose. But I get yelled at cuz "I'm bigger" Puuuhleaze!
That cat is plotting against me I swear it.
