Likes:
Having a job (usually guarding food, cookie, bone, etc.), going for runs with mom, guarding the back hill from killer squirrels and cats, "bye-byes" in the car, and stealing people's seats on furniture when they get up
Pet-Peeves:
Squirrels, cats (esp. Bradley next door who looks like a snack), spray bottles, and beeping noises (like pagers)
Favorite Toy:
Lu only has 2 favorite toys: a green frog-thing ("Baby", who has now retired from toy duty) and a stuffed Border Collie ("Puppy")
Favorite Food:
Chew-eez, Woofles, Jumbones,"Super Size" (fries from McDonalds), Checker burgers, cheese sticks, and plain old Milkbones. She also likes to roll in jelly beans and then they stick in her hair- its hilarious!
Favorite Walk:
anywhere there's a good smell, she's not picky!
Best Tricks:
She can always hold up her end of the conversation! She was able to sit and lay down when we got her; we've also taught her shake and stay. When she's really excited, she does the "butt dance", where she jumps up an down like a bronco and shakes her butt!
Arrival Story:
I was looking to get my mom a dog when I went away to college in the fall of 2002. She was one of the many "free to a good home" newspaper listings......my fiancee and I went down and fell in love with her when she ran out to greet us with a special "butt dance". The family was giving her away because she scared the toddler. Her previous owner before that gave her away because they already had a dog (or 2) and they were making room for a baby. To this day, we still aren't sure how anyone could've given Lucy away! We are so lucky and my mom loves her!
