I had a paw-tastic birthday

Hello to all my wonderful pup pals!

January 13th was my birthday and I had a great birthday! On the Sunday before my official day, my family had a paw-ty for me.

It was sooooo much fun - Mom baked me a peanut butter carrot cake that said "HAPPY BIRTHDAY". I went crazy for that cake - it was so good!

I got some cool presents too. I got a new doggie bed - I am the bed freak in my family, I love beds - all shapes, all sizes. So, I got a cute new blue bed, a matching blankie, and two new toys.

Then, to top it all off, I received so many messages, bones, rosettes and special gifts from my sweetie friends here at Dogster! I got special pics made for me, songs and had parties in some of the groups! How paw-some is that? I feel very special and I had a great birthday!

I love my pals - you are the best!

HAPPY FALL

Hey everybody -

I haven't written in a while - everything is going great in the Pomeraniac household. We have been enjoying some cooler temperatures FINALLY here in the Dirty South. I love cold weather and run around like the pomeraniac I am when the air is chilly. I love playing in leaves and the back yard is covered now - YAY!

We had a great Halloween - I dressed up as a king - Mom's idea. I just humor her. But I got treats & had fun so I can't complain.

I hope you are all doing well & I have been saying my puppy prayers for my friends who have been sick and who have lost loved ones.

I AM FEELING SO MUCH BETTER

Hey furballs -

As some of you know, I had a tumor on my front leg (arm, mom calls it) and I had it removed last week. Well. Mom & Dad were so worried cause I am only 3 and there was a chance it could be cancerous.

Well, the surgery went well and I felt bad for about 2 days but now I feel like my old self. The test results came back and it is NOT malignant so no further treatment is needed, other than getting my sutures out next week.

Yay, we are all so happy about this in the Pomeraniac house. I have a big huge bandage on my arm, which I keep licking! What is this thing and why is it on me? I don't even like to wear clothes or bandanas - WHY do they keep putting things on me!

You can see pics of me with my poor pitiful bandage on my page. Mom feels sorry for me every time she looks at me and I am getting so much attention it is ridiculous!

Thank you all so much for the get well wishes, messages & gifts. It made Mom feel so good. We love you all and wish all of our fur friends who have been sick get good news like we have!

Twister Adventures

Hey furfriends!

I had a very scary exciting night on this past Thursday. Tornadoes came through our town! Now, we have twisters all the time in Arkansas but is has been years since one came though Little Rock. So, this was my first tornado experience and let me tell you, I did not like it one bit!

On Thursday, we had heavy thunderstorms all day. The yard was a flooded mess and I am already scared of thunder, so I was not having a good day.

Then, about 9 PM, Mom was surfing the web when the tornado sirens started! Whoooooooo-oooooooooooh! It was SO loud because we live near the fire station. It has been ages since Mom heard these sirens. Dad ran up the stairs screaming, "Get the dogs, get the dogs!" We all started barking and running around. I was shaking like a leaf.

Mom & Dad were running around, grabbing dogs, grabbing a flashlight. It was madness. We went downstairs to the 'basement level' and we all crammed into the half bathroom because it is an internal room with no windows. So, two adults and five dogs were crowded into a HALF bath! It was crazy and we were so scared.

Mom & Dad sat in the floor and we crowded on top of them. We could sense their anxiety and the sirens and thunder combination was scaring the bejeezus out of all the Pomeraniacs, especially me cause I am already a big baby!

Mom was proud of us though because we listened really well and when they started screaming, we did what we were told. That was good to know in a potential disaster situation.

Anyway, we stayed in that silly little bathroom for over an hour until TWO tornadoes passed by. We were lucky and had no damage but cars were flipped over in our very own neighborhood. A lot of people had damaged roofs, trees falling all over the place and major flooding. Nearby roads were even closed. A town only a few miles away had the tornado touch down and destroy homes.

We are thanking our lucky stars that we were all safe and sound. I don't want to have any more twister adventures! Whew - it was a rough night!

Valentine's Day is my new favorite holiday

Hey friends!

We had the best Valentine's Day! We did a card exchange with our fabulous fur friends in Pommie Love and Pomeranians of the World and a few of our other bestest friends!

It was so fun - we just loved getting the mail everyday. And we got to prove to Daddy that Mom is not crazy. Or at least she is not alone in being crazy. Other people mail out cards for their furkids too! Hee hee hee! I really loved my big special card from Kiki. She even put her paw prints on it! How cute is that? I love it!

We got Valentine treats & heart-shaped cookies. But we couldn't go crazy cuz Copper & Jazzy are on a diet! I still have slim hips - I'm not chubbylicious like they are! Woo hoo!

Hope everybody had a great day! Now Mom is gonna go check the stores for half-price Valentine outfits! I look so handsome in red - I hope she gets me something good!

Wow - I am THREE years old!

I had a very wonderful birthday with my family on January 13th. Mom can't believe I am three cause I still act like a big baby! I love toys just as much as I did as a puppy. Mom posted the video of me on my very first day in my home cause she and dad were reminiscing about the day I came into the family. Hee hee hee. I was such a cute lil black hairball. I had so much energy - I really gave Cooper & Jazzy a run for their money. They didn't know what to do with me.

I had a nice party with my parents and my brothers and sisters. I got dog cookies from the gourmet dog bakery with icing! I thought they were people cookies they were so good. And I got presents. I got some new favorite sqweeky plush toys! I have been sqweekin' those toys non stop!

Thank you to all of my special dogster pals who sent me special gifts, rosettes, messages, and signed my guest book! I love you all furry much! I even got 200 bones on my page! Yippee!

I had the best birthday ever cause this was my first birthday that I also got to celebrate on Dogster with all of you!
