Food, all food...including some things that do not officially fall into the "food" category. Belly rubs. Running through the house at high speeds and leaping wildly. Napping on my chair.
Pet-Peeves:
Ear cleaning, baths, gentle leader leash, not being fed when I want.
Favorite Toy:
All plush toys -- Mr. Man, Yellow Bone, Mr. Fox, Kangaroo. Blanket. Other dogs' tennis balls at the park.
Favorite Food:
Tiny Tots treats, coffee (we do not approve of this, do not give it to him voluntarily), chew bones, banana peels on the street, gum...anything quite frankly.
Favorite Walk:
Rock Creek Park, Volta Dog Park. NC beach.
Best Tricks:
Getting in trouble. Sitting, lying down and staying -- only when treats are involved, of course. Learning how to get in trouble from Uncle Baxter (a.k.a. "Badster") in NC.
Arrival Story:
Max was rescued from the DC Animal Shelter in November 2002 during a snowstorm. He had been turned in with a guinea pig and rabbit. He very much wanted to leave the shelter as his cagemate was totally crazy and obnoxious.
Bio:
I like doggie day care, the dog park and barking at all dogs. I think I'm a much bigger dog than I am. Nursing my toys and my bed are a lot of fun, and I do that frequently. You're better off not saying the word "dinner" around me -- it makes me goes nuts, no matter the time of day. I make lots of old man noises. I am generally a lunatic but insanely lovable. I like to chase bugs too.
