Best Tricks:
Helping her brother Maverick at howling at the theme to "Law & Order" - they're a hoot!

Arrival Story:
We'd recently moved to a house with a large fenced-in yard & thought about getting a dog. My husband kept saying "in the spring...". On my birthday in 1998 (October), my present from my husband was a box of dog toys, bowls, leash/collar & Rottweiler care book; figuring I'd have to wait til spring to make use of them. My husband then told me we had an appt at the local Rottweiler rescue fostering facility, to go pick one out the next day - I was elated & could NOT wait!

Bio:
We arrived at the foster house to a thunder of barking - must've been 30+ Rotties there. We were looking for a female & were introduced to a few adults. Molly (originally named "Bonnie" by the rescue) was very shy & timid - very mellow; we were told that she'd been left alongside a road with two 5-month old puppies, still nursing. She'd been so weak she could hardly walk when she came to the rescue. But all she wanted from us was hang out and have her belly rubbed - she was "the one"!

In Memory:
Molly was with us a wonderful 8+ years until she recently lost her (thankfully short) battle with cancer. She will be dearly missed; more than I ever realized
