It's Friday!

Dog bites

There's a German Shepherd who lives next door to us, and he has invisible fencing. Well for whatever reason he left the boundaries of his yard, and attacked me. I'm okay, and the nips/bites didn't break my skin. But mom and me were wound up for awhile. Mom may have done the foolish thing by trying to stay between me and him, but he didn't bother her. What an adrenaline filled day.

Where is the cool weather? I remember when it used to be soooo cold outside, and now it's too hot! I can walk in the early morning and late evening, but otherwise it's a quick dash out to do my business. Mommy keeps saying it won't be much longer, but I have my doubts.

Fortunately there are some trees along one road, and that's where we walk now to have some shade. I keep hinting to mommy to get me a wading pool to play in. I mean I keep splashing in a puddle whenever the neighbor waters his lawn...it should be obvious to her.

Oh well...I'm going to lie down and dream about that awesome white stuff...snow!!!

Brrr!

Mommy keeps telling me that warmer weather is coming, but I'm not sure if she knows what she is talking about! It did feel a tad warmer, and it really helps when we get to run up and down the road. But with my new brother, Biscuit, we don't run as often as we did. And he doesn't like to walk on the cold road, so he ends up being tucked inside mommy's or daddy's coat. Maybe when he grows a little taller, we can race each other!
