Arrival Story:
Well, I had been begging my mother for a puppy for a long time and when we finaly moved to somewhere I could actualy have one I got a little puppy that I named Flower. This little dog was the runt-tiny as she could be. She never had any energy to eat because by the time I got her, she was already too far gone. She died the day after I got her do to the starvation she'd gone through at her old home. I cried, but felt good anyway because she got a big meal, a bath, and plenty of love when I did own her. About 2 weeks after that, my mother let me get another puppy (a little black half-pit) that was Flower's sister. To this day, Kira is doing great.

Bio:
In September of 2006, Kira escaped from my backyard fence into the woods outside. She got into some poison the neighbors had left out for stray animals, I guess. When I found her, I thought she'd been hit by a car-she had no control of her body. She was jolting around with seisures and had to spend 3 days in the vet. Now, she's doing fine-her only problem is that sometimes when she's asleep or just lying down, her muscles will twitch pretty badly. But now, she's great!
